About Copper Lane Creations

Where are the earrings made?

Every Copper Lane Creations piece is handmade by me in my small home studio in Melbourne, Australia.

Because each pair is made by hand, you may notice slight variations in colour, pattern, texture or finish. These little differences are part of the charm of handmade jewellery and make every pair unique.

What are your earrings made from?

My earrings are handmade using polymer clay, with a variety of techniques and finishes used throughout my collections.

Depending on the design, I may use materials and finishes such as UV resin, alcohol inks, foil, glitter and other decorative elements.

Because everything is handmade, no two pairs will ever be exactly the same — and that’s what makes them special!

Are polymer clay earrings lightweight?

Yes! Polymer clay is naturally lightweight, making it perfect for creating statement earrings that are comfortable to wear.

I design my earrings with comfort in mind, so you can enjoy wearing your favourite statement pieces without the heaviness of traditional jewellery.

Are your earrings hypoallergenic?

Yes! My earrings are made with hypoallergenic earring backings that are lead-free and nickel-free.

The backings are made from surgical-grade stainless steel, making them a great option for customers with sensitive ears.

If you have a known metal allergy or particularly sensitive ears, please get in touch before purchasing if you’re unsure whether they’ll be suitable for you.

Caring for Your Earrings

How do I care for my polymer clay earrings?

Polymer clay is durable, but your earrings will still need a little care to keep them looking their best.

Here are a few simple tips:

• Store your earrings somewhere cool and dry.

• Keep them away from perfumes, hairspray and other chemicals.

• Avoid prolonged contact with water.

• Don’t bend, twist or force the clay.

• Store your earrings flat or somewhere they won’t be crushed or damaged.

With a little care, your handmade earrings can stay looking beautiful for years to come. 💖

Can I wear my earrings in water?

I recommend removing your earrings before showering, swimming or bathing.

While polymer clay itself is durable, prolonged exposure to water, heat and chemicals can affect the finish and earring components over time.

Ordering

Do you offer discounts?

Yes! I occasionally offer discount codes and special promotions, so keep an eye on my website and social media for upcoming offers.

Only one discount code can be used per order.

Free shipping is calculated after any discount has been applied. Your order must still meet the $80 minimum spend after the discount to qualify for free standard shipping.

Can I use more than one discount code?

No, only one discount code can be used per order.

If you have multiple discount codes, you’ll need to choose the one that gives you the best value.

Can I request a custom colour or design?

Absolutely! Custom designs are available at Copper Lane Creations.

If you have a particular colour combination, pattern or design in mind, I’d love to hear your ideas.

Custom orders have a 2-week turnaround time to allow for designing, creating and finishing your pieces. Shipping time is additional.

Are your earrings suitable as gifts?

Absolutely! Handmade polymer clay earrings make a lovely gift for birthdays, Christmas, Mother’s Day, teachers, friends or simply as a little treat for yourself.

Returns & Problems

What happens if my earrings arrive damaged?

I carefully pack every order before it leaves my studio to help make sure your earrings arrive safely.

If your earrings arrive damaged, please get in touch with me within 7 days of receiving your order and send through a couple of clear photos of the damaged earrings and packaging. I’ll have a look and work with you to find the best solution.

If your earrings have been damaged during transit, I’ll happily arrange a replacement, exchange or refund, depending on the circumstances and availability.

Please keep in mind that I’m unable to offer replacements or refunds for earrings that have been accidentally damaged, mishandled or not cared for according to the care instructions after delivery.

What if I change my mind about my purchase?

Because every piece is handmade, please make sure you’ve selected the correct style, colour and quantity before completing your order.
