Refunds & Exchanges

Please read the below CAREFULLY so you understand the terms and conditions when placing your order.

Faulty or damaged 

Copper Lane will only refund or exchange any faulty piece within 7 days of purchase or after receiving an online order. This applies to ALL SALES made at markets and online. Any broken or faulty items after this date will not be exchanged, refunded or replaced. It’s up to you the customer to take care of your items.
If your items are damaged during postage it will be replaced or refunded. However Copper Lane needs to be advised within 7 days after receiving your order with photo proof. 

When dropped or stored incorrectly, the clay may break or become damaged. Copper Lane is not held responsible for any damages caused by mistreating your pieces. Please read the Care instructions page carefully.

Earrings with embellishments are glazed to keep the foil & glitter from rubbing off. This glaze is waterproof however, please remove all jewellery before going into the water. Remove all jewellery before spraying perfume, deodorant or hair spray as the chemicals in these can react with the clay. No refunds or exchanges will be given for damaged jewellery caused by these elements.

Earring backings are made from surgical grade steel that is lead and nickel free. These are perfect for sensitive ears however, Copper Lane is not responsible for any skin reactions caused from these posts or any pieces.

Earring stud posts are glued using a special polymer clay glue. Please be careful with your earrings when taking them on and off. Copper Lane is not held responsible for any earring backings breaking or coming off after the 7 day period as stated above. 

Change of mind

Copper Lane does NOT offer refunds or exchanges on 'Change of mind' or ‘I ordered the wrong one’. All sales are final. This includes sales made at markets and online.

Due to hygiene reasons NO exchanges will be given on earrings  

On Sale

There is no exchanges or refunds on any sale items except if broken during transit. All orders on Sale items are final.

Buying handmade….

All polymer clay jewellery is handmade and hand rolled so there will be some variances in shape, colour and design. This is the beauty of buying handmade. No exchanges or refunds will be given if you are unhappy with the quality or designs.    

Unfortunately, some cracks may occur in beads. This is caused by the heat of the oven when it bakes….. even when I follow the directions to the T it can still happen. I do check all beads for these imperfections and discard any that are unsalable. However, white clay is especially notorious for cracking so some beads may be more noticeable then the others. This is out of my control; no refunds or exchanges will be given for cracked beads.

The beauty of the acrylic means no two pieces are ever the same. Chunky foil & glitter acrylic has coloured foil or glitter embedded into the clear acrylic. Some clear patches may occur in the designs, this is NOT a design flaw. This is what makes the pieces unique. No
